My Dream Car Africa runs its charity to support the Down syndrome and mentally handicapped community as part of its charity cause. This is borne out of our need and community allegiance where the mentally handicapped community serves as one of the most neglected groups in society. Proceeds from our competitions will go into supporting this community through the Down syndrome Society of Kenya and other mentally handicapped groups in Africa.
MyDreamCarAfrica was set up with the sole aim of giving people the chance to win their dream prizes from cars, holidays, and more in Africa at a fraction of the normal cost. Your tickets will be displayed on your profile page or you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket numbers within 10-15 minutes. During high demand, this may take a few hours. If you're looking for your ticket number, refer to the next FAQ.
Once logged in, select ‘My Profile’ from your account dropdown in the top-right corner. Here, you will find all your ticket numbers for the competitions you have entered. Good luck!
We will notify the winner via telephone or email within 7 days of the competition closing date. If your contact details change before then, please inform us. If we cannot reach you within 14 days, we reserve the right to select another winner.
You can view past winners on the ‘Previous Winners’ page. Some winners have kindly shared photos as well!
All major prizes are drawn live with a presenter. You can watch these on our Draws page, Facebook, and YouTube, where we randomly generate the winner.
The competition’s opening and closing dates are listed on the website. We do not extend closing dates, but live draw dates may be brought forward if the competition sells out early.
Our competitions are open to residents over 18 in the countries we operate in. Employees, agents, suppliers, or their immediate family members cannot enter.
Prizes are described on the website. We reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value if necessary.
If a cash alternative is available, it will be clearly stated in the competition details. For tech competitions, cash alternatives are more common. Feel free to ask us!

No, this is not compulsory. However, with your permission, we would love to share your excitement on our website and social media.
Once the competition closes, the full entry list is posted on the website. We draw the winning number live or use PHP’s random_int for automated draws.
Your chances depend on the number of entries. For example, in a competition with 3,000 entries, buying 1 entry gives you a 1 in 3,000 chance of winning. Buying more entries increases your odds.
The draw will still go ahead on the scheduled date. You may get better odds if fewer entries are sold. We do not change the prize or base it on ticket sales.
We do not offer refunds for entry fees.
We do not offer subscription services. It’s likely your bank’s system is labeling the payment this way, but rest assured there is no recurring payment. Cancelling with your bank may block future entries.
All cars undergo checks, including a PDI, fresh 12-month MOT (if needed), and necessary servicing by reputable specialists or main dealers.
